  • Complete your move in one day, depending on the number of items moving, the distance the home is moving, and additional moving services purchased, such as packing, unpacking, and storage;

What does Camelot Moving & Storage include in local moving services?

  • A local moving crew of two or more members and a well-equipped truck. The size of the crew will depend on the volume of the items being moved.

  • Protection of your home’s flooring, stairs, railings, and walls as needed with protective material provided by our crew

  • Wrapping metal, wood, and plastic furnishings in moving blankets; placing mattresses and box springs in new sealable mattress bags; and shrink-wrapping upholstered furniture

  • Breaking down large furniture, such as bed frames, large desks, china cabinets, and sectionals

  • Free use of wardrobe boxes during transport (designed to transport hanging clothes still on the hanger)*

    • *Please note that wardrobe boxes are free for use while transporting your hanging clothes, but they are not free to use for storage following your move. The boxes are considered part of the company truck’s equipment and need to return with the Camelot crew to our office.

  • Loading and unloading furniture and boxes and delivering them to their designated room in the new home, including arranging and rearranging furnishings as needed

  • Unwrapping furniture and removing moving blankets, wardrobe boxes, and—as a courtesy—any empty boxes you have unpacked by the time our crew leaves

What is not included in a local move but is available as an add-on moving service?

Packing, that is preparing small or fragile items for transport by gathering them into boxes with padding as needed, including artwork, lamps, TVs, hanging mirrors, glass tabletops, kitchenware, china, countertop items, and the contents of cabinets, closets, and bookshelves

Do you offer packing supplies?

Absolutely. We offer quality moving company packing supplies, such as boxes, tape, and wrap, so your belongings are safe and secure as you move.

What is Camelot’s cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We will refund your deposit if you cancel up to seven days before your local move date. If you reschedule, we will choose a new date based on our team’s availability and push your deposit to that date.

 
 

Do you have your own moving crew or hire contractors?

We employ and train our own movers. We never hire third-party contractors. Our experienced team will be with you from start to finish and has experience with local moving challenges.
