What exactly is packing?
Packing refers to preparing smaller or fragile items for transport by gathering them into boxes with padding as needed, including kitchenware, china, countertop items, artwork, lamps, TVs, hanging mirrors, glass tabletops, and the contents of cabinets, closets, and bookshelves.
Packing is an add-on service that Camelot provides upon request. Whether you pack on your own or use Camelot’s packing services, your home must be packed before you move your belongings to your new home.
Packing does not refer to loading the moving van. Your experienced Camelot crew will handle this technical step to ensure the safe and effective transport of your belongings to your new home.
Our movers and packers for long-distance and short-distance moves are experts, so no matter where your items are moving, you can trust we will handle them with care throughout their entire journey.
What are My Packing Options?
Camelot offers full or partial packing services and storage services to give you many options and solutions so you can be ready to move on Moving Day.
Self-Packing
Packing your home can take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks if you and your household pack 4 to 5 boxes each day.
Camelot’s Packing Services: Full Packing
For some households—such as families with many young ones, older ones with physical limitations, large homes with extensive storage, or those with a short window of time before Moving Day—adding on moving and packing services from our talented crew is a must! Our team can pack a typical home in one day, allowing you to keep 4 to 6 weeks of your busy schedule untouched and still move out on time!
Camelot’s Packing Services: Partial Packing
Hiring our moving and packing company for a “partial pack.” Use our team to pack and prepare only the most technically demanding rooms and items, such as the kitchen, china cabinet, stemware, lamps, artwork, and TVs.
Unpacking
Our crew is also available for unpacking services. We’ll remove the empty boxes and empty packing debris, allowing you to settle comfortably into your new home, no matter your schedule.
Commercial Packing
Commercial businesses can count on our moving and packing company for relocations. Our crew members are experts at packing and unpacking offices so there is no downtime between workdays, and your employees can return directly to their workstations at the new location, ready to work. For example, we will come in on Friday to break down and pack office furniture and equipment, move it, and set it back up in your new location for normal company operations by Monday.
