Giving back
Billy Kornfeld, founder and owner of Camelot Moving & Storage, sums up our social responsibility and dedication to the community as follows:
“It’s our view that there are people that can help and individuals that need help. Being a company that can help, we simply should assist the ones that need it.”
Bridge 2 Home
March 26, 2020
We received a call from the local homeless shelter, Bridge 2 Home, a nonprofit org, with a capacity of 60 beds. The County is requiring them to create more space between beds, in line with current social distancing requirements. In order to comply they needed to move from their present location to a city recreation center a few miles away … immediately. It was our privilege to help at no charge. Thank you to Alex, Tyler & Juan for doing the heavy lifting that day.

The Boys & Girls Club Festival of Trees
For nearly 30 years…
Camelot Moving & Storage has helped the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley raise funds by donating complimentary delivery services to the club’s annual fund-raising auctions. With a fleet of trucks and highly skilled personnel, Camelot encourages more and higher bids by addressing the concerns of bidders thinking, “If I win this auction, how am I going to get the item(s) home?!”
Camelot has provided free delivery services to the Boys & Girls Club’s winter event, the Festival of Trees, since its inception. At this event, families bid for Christmas trees that have been professionally shaped and decorated. Camelot ensures that each purchased tree, with every inch of tinsel, each glass ornament, and every sparkly snowflake, arrives safely, completely, and intact at the buyer’s home.
Delivery of these trees is a painstaking process that would be quite a burden for the purchaser to handle. However, Camelot’s experienced crew is well equipped to handle the task. They have perfected the process over the years and are happy to use their experience and skill to help this organization raise funds in support of the community’s youth.
