August: The Sunday of Summer

Hey Friend,

For many, the last month of summer carries so much nostalgia. Despite feeling the fatigue of the heat and long days, we squeeze out all the vacation, beach days, sprinkler fun, bug spray, ice cream, iced coffee, and iced tea we can before summer comes to a close!

Summer is the busy season for moving companies, and August is notoriously relentless for moving crews. It’s all hands on deck at Camelot as our entire team works hard, braving the heat waves, to help our customers arrive in their new home before the summer ends, and for many, before the school year begins.

Despite the busy season, we at Camelot are trying to savor the “Sunday of Summer” too. To help make the most of the remainder of summer, I’ve created a mini challenge for myself to make time for activities each week that will so immerse me in a moment that I will forget to check my phone.

Here’s my list so far:

  1. Visit the beach and look for sand crabs with my grandson.

  2. Get back to that great novel I started.

  3. Get back to my 3x/week 1-mile swim.

  4. Sketch.

  5. Hike.

Are you inspired? What’s on your list?
